Church of St. Eudokia

St. Eudokia of Heliopolis -an early Orthodox Christian saint, venerated a martyr.
The church is located in the quiet  part of the city. Somewhere at the back of Kremlin, in a quiet neighborhood near the river Kazanka.

I didn't  even know this church exists until one time in summer of 2011, we tried to discover small streets around the city. The church is old but is well maintained.

  1. The cross at the top is quite ornate in contrast to the rest of the building. I don't think I have ever been inside a round church.

    1. Hello Emma, I don't really know if there is a specific name for this type of cross. I just know that it is an Orthodox Christian cross which is a little different from Catholic. I'll ask my friends if there is and I'll write you about it.
